AOT Technologies Once Again Certified as a Great Place to Work

For the third year in a row, Victoria-based AOT Technologies is Great Place to Work® Certified™!

“We’re proud of our employees who contribute so much to our team efforts,” AOT co-founder Praveen Ramachandran said, “as we continue to promote a positive and healthy workplace culture.”

To be certified as a Great Place to Work, employee feedback is independently gathered, then thoroughly analyzed by Great Place to Work organizers.

“Because this recognition is employee driven,” said George Philip, also an AOT co-founder, “we feel very humble and thankful that all of our staff continue to put their faith in the values we share here and try to promote.”

These values range from promoting a healthy work environment to making sure customers are treated ethically.

“When a company is growing as fast as ours is,” George noted, “it’s easy to lose sight of core values, but we’re pleased that this award recognizes that we’re holding firm to those values.”

Human resources specialist Erika Riviere noted AOT’s commitment to employees by providing ongoing training and participation in engaging and innovative projects.

“What I think Great Place to Work certification shows is that we really put the time into investing in our employees’ development,” said Erika. “This highlights the collaborative and trusting environment within AOT.”

Great Place to Work certification makes businesses eligible for various kinds of recognition. In 2020 and 2021 AOT was included in Great Place to Work’s List of Best Workplaces in Technology™, and has been on the List of Best Workplaces in British Columbia™ since 2019.

“It’s all about our employees and their team efforts, and how we can continue to encourage them to excel, not just for the company, but for themselves too,” said George.

Great Place to Work is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviours proven to deliver market-leading revenue and increased innovation, and is the only national recognition program based on a rigorous methodology and validated employee feedback.
